Environment ✧ ravinous island with black sand (and imported white 🙄)

Services ✧ everything in village short walk; city 15mins drive, or bus

Access ✧ 25mins drive airport; flights from 4h and €200 return

Notes ✧ I'm not personally up for such long flights to sort out the first property so this is purely conceptual, but demonstrates we could find something in future or if anyone else might be up for leading it
✦ internet unknown but fibre planned, although only a single submarine cable connection (one more in deployment)
✦ climate is very steady, does not get hot but also doesn't get cold; I'm not checking humidity 😅
✦ garden obviously doesn't exist (built into vertical rockface so no land) yet the roof is flat and could be turned into a great terrace; might also be possible to create a balcony from basement
✦ 1h walk/10 mins drive down to beach
✦ it's small island so everywhere is driving distance! however the busses are good so a minivan mightn't be needed
✦ next to the Levada Norte trail, albeit not actually walkable to it so scooters/dropoff required
✦ has a flat roof so technically could have an extra area added
✦ not much of a view but sea is just visible, ravine is quite green and only lightly populated
✦ because the lower floors are built into the rock, it makes space use a bit difficult, the capacity might therefore have to favour micro-studios for longer stays, and pods, not standard/basic rooms
✦ probably 10 good-sized units plus a bunch of pods, maybe €2,500/month/share for the better units and €650 for pods
✦ could probably build an extension up the ramp
✦ building is about 12m by 29m, ground floor apparently 5m high thus suitable for mezzanines
✦ sustainability is actually good as almost no heating nor A/C would be required, however long flights are debatable
