Notes ✧ fantastic location and would be very attractive to anyone passing through Barcelona being reachable in 2h with a single change
✦ the village is not notable but has a barrage with great walk along a small gorge to eroded limestone formations (2h30 with train back)
✦ the town of Prades is only 25mins on the train, then continuing up to the top of the Pyrenees on the scenic(slow) train with stops off at secret hot springs and great hiking spots
✦ with the city so close (but last train 7:30pm) there's even more variety, not to mention easy bike/quick drive to many villages

✦ 45mins–1h drive to beaches (longer via transit)
highly susceptible to climate change (average rainfall drop of 60% in 2022) with the resevoir and gorges running dry over several months at a time and the whole region becoming increasingly parched; thus not so appealing in the long term, with the activity and nature scores are not great; however given the otehrwise good climate through the winter it's not unreasonable to say that things balance out with perhaps shoulder seasons rates all year round
✦ partly usable but quite a bit of major work to maximise, can be deferred as is mostly seperate building
✦ two buildings, 40m2 footprint end with 2 floors plus attic and roof in bad condition with beams being held up, that and floors probably need replacing though because there's no garden, this would be an excellent candidate for a roof terrace
✦ main building 135m2 footprint with 3 floors and attic, some in good condition, large stairwell, some new floors, part collapsed (roof leak?), part new roof
